Veronese Wine Tour

The estate is located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, on 23 hectares of vine in a single hilly plot. Here, vines have been cultivated since 1470, using environmentally friendly methods: no pesticides, drip irrigation only when necessary, and pergola and Guyot trellising with a density of about 2,500 vines per hectare. The harvest is manual, taking place between September and mid-October; the grapes destined for the more structured reds undergo a traditional drying process for about 120 days on drying racks. The winemaking process includes maceration, even cold, and aging in wood (barriques or truncated cone barrels) and in bottle, within 15th–16th century tuff environments now integrated with modern technologies. The calcareous soil, the Lessinia hills, and the mild climate influenced by Lake Garda give elegance and structure to the reds; the whites, though carefully selected, express freshness and territorial identity. The estate experience includes guided tours, tastings, and, upon request, lunches or dinners under the ancient barchesse of the villa.
