The owner Fabio is a winemaker who, after years of experiences in eastern Sicily, Northern Italy, Armenia, Australia, and New Zealand, believed in the potential offered by his land. He then decides to return to Marsala to start producing those wines that are an expression of a territory he has always loved, aware that in every glass of his wine there is, first and foremost, his reason for living. He also discovers what immediately becomes his only desire: to share that same genuine wine that he has been producing for years only for himself and his family with an increasingly wider audience: those people who will soon become customers and friends. He then begins to make improvements to the vineyards without ever using systemic and chemical products in the vineyard in order to carry out viticulture that respects the environment. Today, 9 types of wines are produced, all in purity, for a total of about 16,000 bottles a year. Their wines are an expression of a unique territory and the result of a business philosophy, that of "slow farming", which has over time become the company's guiding principle.

The company was founded in 2008 thanks to the rigorous attention paid by our family in recovering the environmental context, in restoring the ancient vineyards, presses, and stone terraces, a testimony to the history of the places. Today it covers an area of about 40 hectares producing 11 types of wines. The original terraces are cultivated by hand: skilled local craftsmen dedicate their time and dedication to the vineyard following its natural cycle. Every phase, from pruning to the tying of the vines, is carried out with great manual skill, today as in the past the natural cycle is rediscovered in the characteristic landscape of Mount Etna. The goal is to enhance the terroir of the highest active volcano in Europe and its native grape variety, Nerello Mascalese. Our wine, with a strong personality, is born from the use of modern technologies, telling the story of a sunny Sicily, rich in tradition and passion. Our family has been involved in vineyards and wine for three generations: from the small property of the grandfather, assigned by the agrarian reform in the '50s of the last century, to his son Totò who dedicated himself to cultivating the vine, expanding to about 4 hectares and planting the Nero d'Avola, to his nephew Rosario who after studying biology and oenology, combining tradition with innovation. In recent years, we have decided to plant new vineyards of various grape varieties, in more suitable sites to produce high-quality wines between Gela and Butera where, among the gypsum quarries at about 400 meters above sea level, another 6 hectares of vineyards have been planted. Based on the experience gained over time, both in the production and commercial fields, we produce wines born from hard work, experience, and love for our land. Our wines involve all the senses: the sight of the golden or ruby colors of our wines, the typical scents of a rich land, the persistence of taste on the palate, and the tangibility, season after season, of what happens inside our winery.

Respect for nature, people, and tradition are the cornerstones of our philosophy, embraced from the early stages of the project. We value human resources, integrate with the territory, use natural resources, enrich the landscape, and show the utmost consideration for the area's history and culture. The first phase of the viticulture project involved a mass selection of the oldest vineyards in the Aeolian archipelago. Malvasia, originating from the island of Crete, owes its name to the ancient port of Monemvasia in the Peloponnese, from where Hellenic wines set sail to cross the routes of the Mediterranean. The Black Corinth is an ancient grape variety from the lands of the Greek city of the same name. These two grape varieties were introduced during the Hellenic colonization period, finding the ideal conditions to express their qualities on the small volcanic islands. Thus, a method of vine training and cultivation focused on "excellence" was born, using advanced technologies and tools.

In the early 2000s, the conversion took place, the citrus grove was uprooted, the land reprepared, and the vineyards were established. Each portion of this wonderful land has been carefully chosen, with the experience of those who have been farming the land for generations, to create the best possible combination of vines, climate, and soil. In 2015, as the plants reached their first maturity, the company decided to make its ideals of enhancing and respecting the territory effective, thus initiating the conversion process from conventional to organic agriculture. In 2018, the first organic certification for grapes and cellar production was obtained from the "Soil and Health" control body.

We are a family-run business, so much so that we define ourselves as Wine Artisans, we produce a few thousand bottles per year with just six hectares of vineyard in the Trapani inland area undergoing conversion to organic farming, between Fulgatore and Dattilo. In the vineyards, the policy is that of natural management, without chemicals and in maximum respect of the vineyard ecosystem. Everything was born from the great passion of the winemaker/owner Vito who in 2017, after dedicating 10 years away from home between study and work, decided to suspend his activity as an employee winemaker to return home and start the company. Ours is the first and only urban cellar. The wines have recently won several international awards and the company now aims to increase the number of bottles produced, adding some new gems, but remaining in the category of artisanal wines.

In these areas, the necessary grape varieties for the production of its wines are cultivated: Zibibbo, Nero d'Avola, Grillo, Catarratto, Inzolia, and Damaschino. These are all local grapes that can only be grown in Sicily and require a particular microclimate found only in the province of Trapani. The company uses a mix of traditional and modern techniques for the production of these grapes: it uses both mechanical harvesting systems and ancient systems like the bush vine. Over 60 hectares of vineyards, many of which are over thirty years old and located on different terrains and heights to guarantee overall balance, the estate includes a guesthouse, some residences, the tasting room, and, of course, the winery. All around, nature expresses its lushness and the fertile soils of white and black volcanic earth yield oranges, lemons, Pachino cherry tomatoes, vegetables and vegetables, olives. The grapes in these parts have a name and a territory of choice: Nero d'Avola, grown solely with bush vines. A grape of ancient traditions and today particularly appreciated, it is certainly one of the most interesting in all of Sicily and is characterized by structure, intensity, and roundness of fruit, aging capacity. The origins date back to the first Greek settlements that also brought the bush vine cultivation system. The bush vine is one of the oldest and most natural forms of vine cultivation; it involves a high density of plants, 5,555 strains per hectare, a decisive factor for the quality of the grapes and therefore of the wine. Ideal for particularly hot and ventilated climates, it has very high management costs as it requires manual care of the plants.
