Description

In the green heart of Barolo, 10 hectares include the plots surrounding the winery, on the border between Verduno and La Morra. It was a happy and far-sighted choice, which, thanks to the efforts of the enlightened winemaker, made it the first Italian producer of Verduno Pelaverga and one of the reference symbols of the rebirth of this area. The west-facing exposure, the cool climate, and the good altitude express in the wines a unique olfactory richness in intensity and persistence, characterized by good freshness. The excellent structure combines with extreme elegance. Every action in the vineyard is a gesture of respect for the extraordinary territory from which the excellence of the wines we produce originates: manual harvesting and cluster selection. Soft pressing and balanced macerations. Fermentations without any forcing, with selected indigenous yeasts from the area. And long waits for aging in barrels. The ultimate goal is to accompany the wine in its natural evolution, according to the millennia-old tradition of the Langhe, to enhance the most authentic expression of each vine variety.
