Suvereto Wine Tour

The winery was founded in 1983 by Marisa and Hideyuki, an Italo-Japanese couple who met in the Sixties at the Turin Motor Show when Hideyuki was touring the world on a motorcycle and shortly before Marisa embarked on a life experience in Japan. The two fell in love instantly and, after over twenty years spent in Piedmont and raising a large family, they wanted to find a locus amœnus to settle, so they arrived at the winery. Initially born as a social farming project, focused on welcoming and reintegrating young adults into society through immersive contact with nature, over time the company gained more and more experience in wine production, which became the main engine and reason for important recognition in the wine sector. Unconditional respect for the environment has turned the 42 hectares of the estate into a treasure trove of uncontaminated biodiversity, fundamental for the well-being of the vines and for the production of quality wines. Starting from the founding grandparents, today the company has reached the third generation.
