Description
The company with its 25 hectares of vineyards, cultivated entirely in the organic system, offers a range of both traditional and international grape varieties. The annual production is about 100,000 bottles, mainly divided between Barbaresco and Langhe Nebbiolo. The plots are grouped around three farmhouses. The winery is located on the Serraboella hill, one of the most important for the production of Barbaresco. The historic vineyards, aged from 35 to 75 years, have limited yields per hectare to maximize quality and enhance the characteristics of the terroir and production area. Manual mowing is carried out to avoid any chemical herbicide. Sowing of over 20 different varieties of herbs helps the plant avoid stress and also serves as natural fertilizers. Harvesting is done manually only for the best fruits at the peak of ripeness, followed by careful selection to avoid any compromise.
