Description
The family has been devoted to viticulture since the second half of the 19th century. The family-run company was later founded around the early 1990s by the brothers Oliviero and Giuseppe. It is with them that the first D.O.C. and D.O.C.G. bottles were born. The peculiarity of this small reality, located in the heart of Franciacorta (an area where the curious visitor can still discover the traces left by the extraordinary work of the Monks during the Middle Ages), is found in the passion and dedication with which the Estate takes care of its vineyards, using substances of natural origin, and produces its wines, which benefit from a minimum aging period on the lees of 30 months. The Winery has a welcoming tasting room. All the visits and tastings offered will be carried out in full compliance with safety regulations. You will be guided through a path that is at the same time historical, technical, and emotional: Matteo, the producer, will summarize the wine production process by going through the key phases of the harvest, vinification, and aging. The highlight of the visit will be the visual, olfactory, and taste experience of tasting the Franciacorta wines, accompanied by a rich platter of local cured meats and cheeses (or alternatively, vegetarian), bread, and other typical local products.
