Our history spans more than a hundred years: a company, a family, and a territory inextricably linked for over a century. Just like in all the small farms in the area, grapes and wine represented a small part of the farm’s agricultural production: our ancestors at the time cultivated cereals, fruits, and, of course, vegetables, and also had “the animals,” as we say here. In those years, there were no DOC or DOCG, and wine was consumed almost as a food, a source of energy for the hard work in the fields. Today, I can say that the transition between the “old” and the “new” world is complete, at least here: it was in my hands that we completed the conversion, definitively ferrying it to single-crop viticulture, and concentrated all our energies on a single goal: producing high-quality wine. We have learned to embrace technological innovation, which helps us work better, but at the same time our roots have helped us to keep our feet firmly rooted in our past and tradition. Our roots run deep."
