Recioto Wine Tour

Our Winery is located in the most historical area of Valpolicella, in a small valley particularly suited for the cultivation of vines for the production of excellent wines. The name is in honor of Grandfather Carlo, who reached the venerable age of 102 by drinking “good wine”, as per his words. It extends over an area of 14 hectares and can be admired from the square of the famous small town of S. Giorgio, known worldwide for its wonderful ancient church, the cloister, and the archaeological excavations. We produce wine only with the grapes from our vineyards, in a traditional way but with modern equipment and with minimal use of chemical additives to get to the bottling of about 60,000 bottles of Valpolicella: Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso, Amarone della Valpolicella, and Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG. You will not only taste wine, but also samples of our production Oil and Grappa. We will take you for a walk in the area, telling you about the crafts and people who have made these territories great. Upon reservation, it is also possible to combine Veronese cold cuts and cheeses.
