Over 60 hectares of vineyards, many of which are over thirty years old and located on different terrains and heights to guarantee overall balance, the estate includes a guesthouse, some residences, the tasting room, and, of course, the winery. All around, nature expresses its lushness and the fertile soils of white and black volcanic earth yield oranges, lemons, Pachino cherry tomatoes, vegetables and vegetables, olives. The grapes in these parts have a name and a territory of choice: Nero d'Avola, grown solely with bush vines. A grape of ancient traditions and today particularly appreciated, it is certainly one of the most interesting in all of Sicily and is characterized by structure, intensity, and roundness of fruit, aging capacity. The origins date back to the first Greek settlements that also brought the bush vine cultivation system. The bush vine is one of the oldest and most natural forms of vine cultivation; it involves a high density of plants, 5,555 strains per hectare, a decisive factor for the quality of the grapes and therefore of the wine. Ideal for particularly hot and ventilated climates, it has very high management costs as it requires manual care of the plants.
