Gaiole Wine Tour

The company is the result of a skilful restoration by the family which in the early '90s restored this wonderful gem of rural architecture almost hidden in the Chianti area. The estate covers about 15 hectares and, by rebuilding from the old ruins, 26 rooms for hospitality, 1 restaurant, 2 swimming pools, and a tennis court were created. Surrounding the property are the vineyards completely replanted in the early 90s and the company has about 7.5 hectares, of which 6 hectares are Sangiovese for the production of the 3 Chianti Classico DOCGs and 1.5 hectares of Merlot for the production of IGT wines. Total production amounts to around 25,000 bottles per year and all management, both agronomic and in the cellar, is 100% ORGANIC. The lands are mainly rich in galestro and clay, and the 7 different vineyard plots allow the company to do a microzoning of the vineyards for the production of reserve and Gran Selezione Chianti Classico.
