Bellone Wine Tour

At the foot of the Lepini Mountains, 56 km south of Rome, at about 400 meters above sea level, on an ancient territory, our winery flourishes and grows solid. The company currently covers about 52.5 hectares, of which 41 are planted with vineyards and 11.5 with olive groves. The winery focuses on some unknown grape varieties, which only this territory has preserved like a hidden treasure. White grape varieties that have always been cultivated are the Bellone, the Arciprete Bianco, and two varieties of Greco grapes, locally known as Moro and Giallo, almost disappearing in the area. Those with red berries are the Nero buono of Cori, the Montepulciano, and the Cesanese. Cared for by meticulous professionals, the vineyards with a south-southwest exposure develop in the locations of Capolemole, Pezze di Ninfa, and Valli San Pietro. The volcanic origin land particularly suited to the cultivation of vines and olive trees is rich in skeleton, in particular tuff and, in the highest part, the skeleton has a limestone component. The grapes are transformed through state-of-the-art equipment in the new winery. Currently in full expansion, it has substantial spaces for processing, storage, refinement, and maturation of the product, as well as for hosting guests and tastings. This is how the Winery manages to express serious agriculture and offer its customers quality products.
